Before you read on about Dishwashers...

The following information is useful only to tenants who currently have a dishwasher installed and in use at a property. Arrive Homes does not provide dishwashers to properties that do not have this appliance currently in use, and it is at the discretion of the property owner to replace the appliance, which will happen on a case-by-case basis and only when fair wear and tear has been identified and damage has not been caused due to misuse.

Cleaning and Safety

Are you noticing that your dishes are not coming as
sparkly clean as they once used to after a wash?

Proper maintenance and a spot on clean can get it back to optimum working order! But before you do anything, ALWAYS make sure that the appliance is turned off and unplugged before attempting to clean or fix any problem(s).

Clean Your Dishwasher with Salts.

Your dishes will come out sparkling! Like water softener crystals, dishwasher salts are granulated crystals of sodium chloride intended for use in dishwashers to remove calcium build-up characterised by the result of hard water. Dishwasher salt is not the same as table salt as the crystals are larger.

You can buy dishwasher salts at any local grocery store where you would buy your detergent and there are various brands to choose from that all do the same thing - keep your dishes clean! Simply follow the product's instructions for proper use and care.

Here are some Useful Tips:

Use VINEGAR to clean a dishwasher. Here's how: Empty your dishwasher, pour 1 cup of vinegar (white or apple cider) in, and run a complete cycle with hot water.

Clean your dishwasher after every use. Empty the collected debris and de-clog attachments and parts to avoid inconvenient and costly problems.
