Give your refrigerator a light clean often. This will help prolong the dreaded deep cleaning that a refrigerator needs from time to time and keep the fridge smelling and looking clean longer.

Check the seals of the refrigerator door(s). If you are finding that the refrigerator is not staying cold, check that the seals along the doors are not broken. Make sure that the doors are being properly closed with each use.

Empty the drain pan. If there is an odor, or a mold problem starting, check that the drain pan has been emptied.

Check the temperature. Is it too cold? If so, you may be finding that you are having to defrost the freezer more often than most.
